İmge Tilif - Violin

She graduated from Hochschule für Musik Detmold with Prof. Lukas David. Later on she completed her solo master’s degree with Prof. Elisabeth Weber in Musikhochschule Lübeck and her chamber music education with Prof. Günther Pichler in Escuela de Superior Reina Sofia in Madrid with her string quartet called Con Fuoco. She was the concertmeister of Detmolder Kammerorchester between 2005 to 2009 and performed solo works with the same orchestra. She recorded works for 2 violins from A.Schinttke, J.N.David and F.Treiber with Prof. David for Berliner Rundfunk. She performed as solo and chamber music player with David Ensemble, they tourned Germany, Italy, Greece, Thailand, Turkey, Spain and Austria. In 2011, Con Fuoco Quartet was invited to Ernen Musikdorf Festival. They were part of the festival for four years. They had the opportunity to work with Auryn Quartet, Andras Schiff, Arnold Steinhardt, Xeina Jankovic. The Quartet performed with different programs in Germany, Spain, Italy and Turkey. In 2009, they won the 1st Prize of Hochschule für Musik Chamber Music Competition. She was invited to participate as a chamber musician to J.N.David Tagen, Musikdorf Ernen, Istanbul Baroque Festival, AIMA Music Festival,

ICMAF Music Festival, ECUME Contemporary Art Festival, Istanbul Music Festival, St.Petersburg Music Festival, Studio Bosphorus Berlin Festival, Donaueschingen Musik Tage. In 2017 she recorded Occupation for String Quartet from Jeremy Woodruff with Lepidus Quartet. This work was published on the album ‘From Istanbul’. In 2021 she released a solo Album, recorded all Partitas for solo violin from J.S.Bach. She is the member of Hezarfen Ensemble, lives in Istanbul and continues to record her own projects.
